How to play Skate 3 in your browser

From the first loading screen to your first push in Port Carverton.

Before you start

The launcher opens the unofficial Skate 3 fan project at skate.aaddpp.lol. Its start notice asks you to bring a legally owned copy of Skate 3, converted on your own machine. Read the project’s notice and follow its setup requirements.

Use a browser with WebGPU support and graphics acceleration enabled. A current desktop Chrome or Edge browser is a useful starting point. Keep a stable connection and allow time for the first download; running in a browser still involves downloading game data.

Launch and reach the menu

  1. Select Play Skate 3. The game opens in its own window or tab.
  2. Read the fan project notice, then continue.
  3. Keep the game open while its data and engine load. A moving download counter means it is still working.
  4. At Press START, press Enter or your controller’s Start button.
  5. Choose a difficulty when prompted, then enter the Freeskate menu.

If your browser blocks the new window, use the direct game link that appears below the play button. A Press START screen is a menu waiting for input, so use Enter before troubleshooting a loading problem.

Choose a world and difficulty

World changes where you skate. The project lists University, Downtown, Industrial and several smaller parks. University includes the campus, Observatory dam and Super-Ultra Mega-Park. Smaller choices include Skate School and Start Park.

Easy offers more forgiving landings and more air. Normal is the standard setting. Hardcore asks for more precise landings and gives less air. Easy is a practical choice while learning the input timing.

University, Downtown and Industrial are large downloads and can put pressure on mobile memory. For a modest device, choose a smaller park and enable Lite Mode before committing to a large world.

Make your first push

On a keyboard, Space maps to the controller’s A button for pushing. WASD maps to the left stick and the arrow keys map to the right stick. With a standard controller, use A to push, the left stick to steer and the right stick for FlickIt tricks.

Get moving on flat ground, steer into a clear line, and try a small ollie before heading for stairs or rails. Open the full controls reference beside the game if a menu or action feels unfamiliar.

Press Esc or Start to open the pause menu. The project saves settings in your current browser, so another browser or profile can start with different settings.
