How to change worlds
Select World in the Freeskate menu to choose another part of Port Carverton. The project also exposes a Choose World option in its player menu. After choosing, allow the selected world’s data to finish loading.
Some large worlds take much longer to download and use more memory than a small park. Pick a smaller park if you are learning controls or testing a modest device.
Worlds in the menu
| World | What the project describes |
|---|---|
| University | Campus plazas, the Observatory dam and Super-Ultra Mega-Park |
| Downtown | City ledges, stairs, rails and traffic |
| Industrial | Docks, warehouses, gaps and the old plant |
| Skate School | A school park for learning and exploring |
| Maloof Money Cup | The contest course |
| Black Box Park | An indoor warehouse park |
| Downtown Skate Park | A park in the city |
| Industrial Skate Park | A park on the industrial side |
| Start Park | A small warm-up park |
The exact list you see depends on the game data available to the project. Follow the current menu if the available worlds change.
Finding Super-Ultra Mega-Park
The project’s World descriptions include Super-Ultra Mega-Park as part of University. Its source also explains that the standalone MegaPark cutout is hidden from the world list because its spawn sits outside the geometry.
Use University and the game’s FREESKATE → Teleport option instead of hunting for a standalone MegaPark entry. University is a large world, so give it time to load and use a capable device.
Choose a spot for your session
For a first attempt, a small park gives you a manageable place to practise steering and flicks. For street lines, Downtown has the ledges, stairs and rails described in the menu. University is the choice for the campus and mega-park areas; Industrial offers docks and warehouse surroundings.
These are suggestions based on the menu descriptions. You can change difficulty separately: Easy while learning, Normal for the standard feel or Hardcore for more demanding landings.
Read the Lite Mode guide before loading a city on a phone, or follow the trick practice guide to build a short line in your chosen park.
